HAUL!!! M.A.C., NYX, OLAY, NIVEA, REVLON, RIMMEL, ULTA!!!

Hellooooo BEAUTY LOVERS!!! So this past weekend I may have been naughty naughty when it came to makeup :/ I bought some things that I probably didnt need.... but wanted and LOVED what I bought!!!!
First up is moisturizer, body lotion

On the left is Nivea Creme( I guess its a hand creme but Im curious to try it on my lips because it is sooooo moisturizing!! let me know if you guys know if its ok on the lips :)) On the right is Olay complete all day moisturizer with sunscreen : Broad spectrum SPF 15.(gotta protect that face!) its really moisturizing, I have combination oily skin and lately because of the cold temp my face was really dry and my Aveeno ultra calming moisturizer just wasnt doing it...but this one is great!!!! I was afraid because when I first put it on I looked oily, but after foundation or powder I was good all day and didnt even get oily!!!

On the left is Olay which as you can tell is kinda runny and the right is Nivea which is way thicker!!
LIPPIES!!!!
I know alot of reds!! but i was on a hunt for a M.A.C. Viva Glam I dupe!!!! I tried to but it at the M.A.C. store but they were all out :,,,,,,,,( So I went to look at ulta with a fresh Viva Glam Swatch on my hand with hopes of finding something close temporarily while I waited :(.....
So from left to right is: Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick in the shade 001, Ulta lipstick in the shade 203 Chili Pepper, Revlon S.L. in Really Red( the only matte shade I bought) and then just a Nivea Lip balm to keep my lips moisturized(which it does!!!)
From top to bottom: Revlon Really Red, Ulta Chili Pepper, and Rimmel 01.
I found the Revlon shade to be close to Viva Glam I because it was matte like Viva Glam I and looked like it had a slight brown undertone like Viva Glam I. I found the Ulta shad to be close because it came the closest to the browny color even though it looks bluish in the pic :/ in order to wear it like Viva Glam I I have to dab it on. The Rimmel was close because it was AGAIN a lil browny but was lighter than Viva Glam I, so I will be using a lip liner to just darken it.
Eye Palettes From NYX in Caviar and Bubbles and Smokey Eyes.

Top is Caviar and Bubbles. Bottom is Smokey Eyes.
Above is Caviar and Bubbles
Above is the Smokey Eyes.
I love these palettes!! The Caviar and Bubbles is perfect neutrals with both shimmers and mattes!! The Smokey Eyes is darker shades with both mattes and shimmers! They both have great pigmentation with little to no fall out! They also have great lasting power! I love these and really want the Walk the Runway on or some Runway one :P
And last but not least......
M.A.C. and Revlon!!
The M.A.C. eyeshadow above is WOODWINKED!!!It is a veluxe pearl and is almost like a goldish bronzey brown lol I DONT KNOW its soooooooo UNIQUE!! I have had my eyes on this color but when I would swatch it on my hand I would say...."mmmm maybe next time.." but as soon as I asked the lady to put it on my eyes and had Viva Glam I on my lips....."HALLELUJAH!!!! BIRDS WERE SINGING!!! AND SO WAS THE FAT LADY!!!!" I had to have both because I loved them paired! It almost looked like the perfect Christmas makeup look...except my hair was a mess so i tried to ignore it lol. You need to go to M.A.C. and have them put this shade on your eyes and you will walk out of that store with this in your cute lil M.A.C. bag, the shade sparkling on your eyes, and $16 poorer! :)
Oh yea....and I should mention the Revlon Photoready Bronzer...(lol jk I love this too) Its a matte bronzer with four different shades in one so you can customize! I love the darkest shade(great for contouring) I havent worn it yet so I dont know about the lasting power and whatevs but I will do a review soon :)
Left is woodwinked, the middle is all of the shades in the bronzer from left to bottom right, and the farthest right is all four of them mixed together.
Well thats all for today!! I hope you guys will share any good products you bought this weekend!!
:)

Sonia Kashuks Eye Shadow Palette in Eyes on Neutral -02 Review and Swatches!

Hey guys!! I hope your week is off to a great start!! Its Turkey Week and Black Friday is coming up!!! I cant wait to hit those SALES!! I know for sure sephora has some great deals you can check them out on one of my favorite blogs to read Nouveaucheap.blogspot.com (nouveaucheap.blogspot.com ) She does great reviews on drugstore products, has dupes for everything, shows you local drugstore sales happening with coupons! GIRL DOES HER RESEARCH!!!
So today I will be reviewing the Sonia Kashuk Eyeshadow Palette in Eyes on Neutral-02. You can find this palette at target for $19.99(check target.com for coupons because they usually have a few bucks off of any sonia kashuk purchase) This palette contains all matte shades( which I love!!! because I have way too many "WOAH GIRL!!! I LOVE THAT SHIMMER!!!!" shades. (lol)

It contains 12 matte neutral shades (durr you could probably get that from the title) xP
It comes with a pull out slide thingy (nice description I know!) with instructions and ideas on how to use the shades to create beautiful eye looks. Look number one is a softly contoured eye look using shades 1-5 on your lid and 6-9 in the crease and you choosing which would best fit your skin tone. Look number 2 is a wash of neutral eye look using shades 4-11 all over the eye and 8,9, or 12 in your crease, again you choosing which best fits your tone. The last look is a smokey eye look using 8-11 on your lid and 12 from lashline to crease with a light application.
The shades are numbered 1-12 from top left to bottom right(sorry you can barely tell in the picture). These formulation of these shadows are great! the are soooo smooth and kinda creamy/soft feeling and are very pigmented(in the swatches are hard to see on me because they match my skin tone). HOWEVER. some are powdery like numbers 4,6 and 12 for sure! You should tap your brush before applying these to help avoid fallout. They have great lasting power, but i still use a primer just in case I get oily.
Here are some swatches!!!

The left picture shows (6 shades) from top left to bottom right shades 1-6. The picture on the right shows the last 6 shades (7-12).
In conclusion I really LOVE this palette! I tend to reach for it everyday for a natural "no makeup makeup" look (if I want some natural shimmer I will reach for my NYX 10 shadow collection (or whatever its called) in caviar and bubbles(I think lol) and use the neutral shades on top of these ones! Add this to your x-mas list guys!! ITS GREAT!!!!!

M.A.C. Favorites!!!

I remember when I was a freshman in high school and it was homecoming time! Now most girls would be excited to go shopping with their friends and find dresses and get dressed together and take pics together and go to the dance together.....that wasn't me. My mother loved to make me and my sister have the best things we could have, so instead of sharing makeup with my friends she took me to the M.A.C. counter......DUN DUN DUN!!! And it was over from there! (lol) Like it is for most people! So today I'll be sharing my favorite M.A.C. Products :D
First up are my favorite face products :)
At the very top Lustre Drops(pink rebel) Top left to bottom right: Studio Fix powder(NC40), Mineralize Skinfinish Natural(Medium Dark), Studio Finish Concealor(NW30), and Pro Sculpting Cream(Coffee Walnut)

Top to bottom: (you can barely see it) studio finish concealer, pro sculpting cream, studio fix, mineralize skin finish. On the right is the lustre drops.
Ok!! So lets start with the face powders!! I personally prefer powders because I have oily skin and liquid foundations just dont seem to last as well as a powder. I also dont like the "makeup" look or the feeling of a foundation in general...I know sometimes too much powders can make you look cakey(studio fix) but if you cover any blemishes or redness with concealer and just lightly dust your face with either powder you can create a natural face look. I rarely get blemishes, my problem is the scars that they leave :/ although you cant really see the Mineralize Skinfinish swatched on my hand it is just a tad bit dark on my face so I usually use that when I have a tan and as a light bronzer during the cold months :) I LOVE the Studio Fix powder( not the same as the fix plus foundation-thats a bit heavier) this is also a light finishing powder, however you can build it up(be careful because there is a fine line between nice and "WOW!!! CAKE FACE!!!" with this powder)
Next will be concealer. I love the Studio Finish! I only use this on blemishes and redness because i feel like it is just a bit too dark for under my eyes and lays in fine lines....but it covers everything else well and lasts allllllllll ddddaaaayyyy!!! I usually apply this before my powder because for me it "sticks" better to my skin rather than the powder, and powdering afterwards sets the concealer. It has a creamy consistency, but if you have it for a while or in the colder months it will dry up. This can be easily fixed as long as you wipe the top off with a tissue(the hard bits) and then stick your finger and warm the product between two fingers and apply.
The last face product is a new found love! The Pro Sculpting cream in coffee walnut!! I love using this to contour my face! I have a round chubby cheeks( no not baby fat..."i got if from my momma...i got it from my momma...(remember that song lol)) i love how it has a cool greyish undertone compared to other contouring products that have warm orangey bronze looking undertones. I wanted something that looked like a shadow from my "strong cheek bones" this does just that! Im still practicing and trying out different methods of application, so if you have any tips let me know please!!!
Top left to bottom right: Sable, Carbon, Naked Lunch, Nehru, Mulch, Bare Study(paint pot), Star Violet, Charcoal Brown, Sketch, Brule. Top eye pencil: Purple Dash(technakohl liner), and coffee(eye pencil)
Top to bottom: Purple dash, coffee eye pencil, bare study(paint pot), star violet, sable and carbon.

Top to bottom: Charcoal brown, naked lunch, brule, sketch. Right from top to bottom: mulch and nehru.
The eye products above are all of the shadows I own that are not limited edition products. I have a mix of mattes, frosts, and satins(I think lol) I love every shade...except nehru its a little on the bluish black(black eye) shade. They all have great pigmentation and have great blending powers!!(lol) Although the are a little pricey($15), they are worth it! I am dying to get my own palette and starting my palette collections (I really want satin taupe, woodwinked, smut, mystery, quarry, patina, omega, vanilla, sumptuous olive and all that glitters) I love the lasting power of the eyeliners, again wish i had more. I tend to use the bare study paint pot as a base for my shadows it prevents them from creasing!! I want the matte nude shade that they offer for the paint pot I just forgot what its called lol
 Left to right: Plumful(lustre), Captive(satin), Brave(satin), See Sheer(lustre)
Top to bottom: Captive, Plumful, Brave, See Sheer
I want more!!!!!!! I love all of these! The formula is great. Nice and creamy! I just touch up a couple of times a day. I want darker colors!! (lol) i think I was just intimidated by the crazy colors that the makeup artists were wearing that I was like "WOAH!!! I think I want a my lip color but better please....O_o" I want: Viva Glam I, Chili and a pretty pink(havent seen one I loved yet)

WELL thats all for now! I REALLY hope that I will be able to do another one of these in the near future with my NEW favorites and show you my empty wallet! (lol) Let me know what are some of your favorite M.A.C. products that you think I should try! HAUL!

Coupons + Walmart = HAUL!!
Hey guys! So again I went through my daily newspaper and got some great coupons! $1,$2,$3 &$5 off products!! So I had to go to Walmart a.k.a. The cheapest store that sells drugstore makeup and buy stuff! I really wanted to buy the new Olay CC cream they have...it was $20 and I had a $3 off coupon.....BUT it didn't say oil free so I will have to do some more research to find out if it is or not because I have combination/oily skin and in SoCal it's still pretty warm and I'm still pretty slick(oily) :P
First up are my new Covergirl lipsticks in the shades euphoria and rapture.
On the left is rapture which is a peachy coral color, with shine, but looks a little pale toned to me....it might be a good spring/summer color. On the right is euphoria which is a raspberry color....
so B-E-A-Utiful!! It has a sheen to it. If it looks too bold for you you can easily just take a little on your finger and do a light application, it looks like a winter bitten lip stain.
Above is a Kate Moss for Rimmel London lipstick in the shade 11. This shade looks like a deep red but when applied it actually looks like a brighter red rather than deep, like a classic red lip from the
50's. You can build it up to look deeper. The shade I really want from this collection is part of her fall collection and I think it's number 7....let me know where you found it if you have it!

Next up are two tinted lip balm/stains.
The first one is the Maybelline baby lips in the shade cherry me. It's quite a sheer color, but it is sooo hydrating and smells like cherries! Which I personally don't eat(unless it's a jolly rancher) but love the smell.
The second is a Revlon just bitten kissable lip balm and stain in the color honey. I love these! They smell like mint and have great pigmentation! This one adds the perfect my lip color but better to my lips. I've seen different YouTube beauty gurus(of different ethnicity) use this shade and it seems to look great on anyone! But what I'm starting to notice about this product is that they really don't hydrate that well. And the lasting power sucks...I have to reapply probably every hour because the hydration part goes away...but the color is still there I'm just really dry. :/
The shades from top to bottom-Maybelline baby lips in cherry me, Rimmel Kate moss in 11, Revlon just bitten in honey, Covergirl in rapture, and Covergirl in euphoria
The last thing I bought is the new Covergirl clump crusher. By lash last mascara in very black. This is  the newest mascara from Covergirl. It has a newly designed brush wand thing with closer bristles to prevent clumping and is supposed to add 200% more volume* !!!!!!  Blah blah blah.... Oh wait did it just see an asterisk.....* compared to natural lashes.....I hate asterisks.... But I don't hate this mascara!!!! I like the brush, however I still had a little bit of clumping but once I kept running the brush through it it seemed to pick the clumps up. One suggestion I would make is to make the bristles a little longer so it will not clump with just one swipe. The picture of my HUGE eye above is with 3 coats of the mascara. I really like the formula, it's lightweight, it's only my first day wearing this so if it smudges I will let you know in my next post :)
Well that's all for today guys comment down below about anything you recently bought and things i should really check out!

Wet N Wild!!!!!

Hey Beauty Lovers!! I truly love the Wet N Wild range! They have great lip products, blushes, and eye products. All with GREAT pigmentation! I think the only problem with some of their products is how soft they are! they break so easily! When applying their eye shadows you will need to tap off the extra because they are known to have alot of fallout, however they are so easy to blend and with the price ranging from $1-5... all I can say is AWESOME!!!! Here are some Wet N Wild eye shadows and swatches!
Here are some on the single shadows and the only creme pencil I own.
Left to right- Envy, Brulee, Nutty, Panther and Graphite.

Here are some trios which come with direction of placement on the eyeshadow itself.
From left to right- Walking on Eggshells, Silent Treatment, and Knock on Wood
Top to Bottom- Walking on Eggshells, Silent Treatment, Knock on Wood.
And finally some of the 8 shadow palettes.
From top to bottom right- Petal Pusher, Comfort Zone, Downtown Browns(this is from the Black Radiance makeup which you can find at some Rite Aids. I decided to mention this because they come from the same manufacturers, and are exactly the same product.)
Petal Pusher
Comfort Zone
Downtown Browns
So go drive down to your local Rite Aid and buy some of these!!
:)
